NicheObserver launched a free tool called Reach on Sept. 8, 2026, using Google‘s Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX) data to estimate website audience size and global market presence.

The new tool is positioned as a free alternative to paid analytics platforms like Similarweb, offering insights into real user presence and scale across more than 35 million domains in 238 countries and territories.

Kevin Richard of NicheObserver presented Reach, noting its focus on audience scale rather than granular traffic sources or unique visitor counts, according to a statement from the company.

Reach provides a reach score ranging from zero to 100, a popularity rank bucket, a probable main market, and a 24-month historical view for observed domains.

In August 2026 alone, the tool observed 13.9 million domains, demonstrating its extensive coverage, NicheObserver reported.

The platform offers multiple access methods, including a single domain search, a bulk processing mode, and API access for developers.

Additionally, users can access Reach through a SEObserver extension and an MCP server designed for integration with artificial intelligence agents, according to NicheObserver.

Richard stated that while Reach offers broad insights, it has limitations, including the exclusion of some sites, such as those marked with a ‘noindex’ tag.

He also noted that variations in the reach score do not always directly correlate with changes in website traffic due to fluctuations in CrUX data coverage.

Google’s CrUX data, which forms the basis of Reach, aggregates anonymized user experience metrics from Chrome users globally.

The introduction of Reach by NicheObserver provides a new, accessible option for webmasters and SEO professionals seeking general audience and market insights without the cost associated with more comprehensive, proprietary analytics services.
