A webinar scheduled for September 2 will instruct participants on leveraging artificial intelligence bot and crawler data to gauge AI search performance and link it to website traffic.
The online event aims to provide a framework for improving web pages, creating content, and building authority by analyzing machine attention to human visits, according to organizers.
Traditional AI search performance indicators, such as mentions, citations, share of voice, and sentiment, offer comparative value but are not considered reliable for making budget or content strategy decisions, Search Engine Journal reported.
Stas Levitan, founder of LightSite AI, will present insights derived from tracking AI bot activity across hundreds of websites.
Levitan is expected to detail how to extract four critical signals for AI search performance from existing log and analytics data.
These signals include specific AI crawler activity, identification of pages consumed by AI bots, and analysis of AI referral traffic.
LightSite AI stated that connecting these machine attention signals to human visits provides a more accurate understanding of how AI search impacts website engagement.
The webinar will focus on practical applications, guiding attendees on how to utilize these data points to refine their digital strategies.
Participants will learn to identify which content resonates with AI systems and subsequently drives human traffic, a key shift from simply tracking where content is cited.
The approach emphasizes a data-driven methodology for optimizing online presence in an AI-driven search environment.
