WASHINGTON – Google launched a new artificial intelligence product, Dreambeans, to all eligible U.S. consumer accounts on September 10, 2026, transforming private user data into proactive, personalized content feeds.

The new offering from Google Labs, available on both Android and iOS for users 18 and older, including those without a Google AI subscription, generates daily illustrated stories across various aspects of users’ lives.

Dreambeans aggregates information from five primary Google data sources: Search, including Maps, Shopping, and Flights; Workspace, encompassing Gmail, Calendar, and Drive; YouTube; Gemini, utilizing chat history and derived insights; and Google Photos.

Google’s internal ‘Personal Context’ infrastructure is responsible for compiling signals from these diverse sources to produce highly detailed and relevant stories, the company stated.

Damien Andell, a Google spokesperson, said the application aims to provide a proactive lifestyle AI experience, anticipating user needs and interests.

Each story includes specific fields such as ‘storyWhat,’ ‘storyWhy,’ ‘storyTag,’ ‘confidence,’ ‘expireTime,’ ‘feedRecencyCutoff,’ and ‘storyChat,’ which enables interactive conversations with the AI.

Olivier de Segonzac, reporting for SERoundtable, noted that the product represents a significant leap in personalization, but also raises new questions regarding the deep integration and proactive use of private user data.

The company indicated that the system is designed to offer a highly tailored experience by leveraging the breadth of information available across Google’s ecosystem.
