A free global webinar will help small businesses optimize their local search presence across various platforms, including AI search tools and voice assistants, according to organizers Thryv.
The session aims to equip owners with strategies to improve visibility beyond traditional Google Business Profile listings to encompass voice assistants and emerging artificial intelligence applications, Thryv stated.
Many small business owners currently possess a Google Business Profile but have not fully optimized it to align with contemporary customer search behaviors, Thryv said.
AI-generated search results, such as those from ChatGPT, draw upon different signals than conventional ranking algorithms, presenting a new challenge for local search engine optimization (SEO).
The webinar will cover how AI search tools and voice assistants like Siri and Alexa surface local businesses, detailing key fields within Google Business Profile that require attention.
Participants will also learn to establish a consistent habit for generating customer reviews and conduct a thorough local SEO audit.
Small business trainers from Thryv, who possess practical experience in the field, will lead the upcoming webinar. The organization noted that the session builds upon the success of a previous event.
Beyond Google Business Profile and Google Maps, local search visibility now critically involves platforms such as Yelp and Facebook, further complicating the digital environment for small enterprises.
