SeedProd on Tuesday announced the global release of WPVibe, a new WordPress plugin designed to facilitate secure and streamlined integration of artificial intelligence for comprehensive website management.
The plugin, also known as Vibe AI, functions as a Managed Content Platform (MCP) server, enabling WordPress sites to connect with various AI systems for tasks ranging from content generation to site auditing.
WPVibe allows AI to manage diverse aspects of a WordPress site, including content creation and editing, media organization, bulk-editing of WooCommerce products, search engine optimization, and theme design, according to SeedProd.
The plugin supports multiple AI clients, such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor, operating on the open MCP standard, and is compatible with both free and paid AI plans, the company stated.
John Turner, a representative for SeedProd, said the plugin handles authentication and encrypts user credentials using AES-256-GCM, relaying AI tool calls to the WordPress REST API.
Safety features include approval gates for irreversible actions, encrypted WordPress login with one-click revocation, and daily usage limits to prevent excessive token spending. The plugin also employs “surgical edits” to minimize token usage, SeedProd reported.
WPVibe offers both a free tier and a premium version. It also allows for theme file editing within a sandbox environment, providing an additional layer of security for site modifications.
