Google expanded its Search Console to include performance data for content published on Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube, enabling creators and SEO professionals to monitor social and video content within Google Search, Discover and Google News.

The integration, which followed an experimental phase announced in early July 2026, offers insights into how social media and video content performs across Google’s various platforms, according to a company statement.

Users can now track search queries that drive traffic to their social posts and videos, identify sudden spikes in visibility and compare content performance across different platforms and formats.

Google released a dedicated guide detailing practical applications for content creators, community managers and SEO professionals.

The guide outlines features such as identifying trending search topics, filtering data to pinpoint 24-hour traffic peaks and exporting data for detailed cross-platform analysis.

Content optimization is also a key benefit, allowing users to refine existing content based on renewed visibility and search trends.

The company said the new capabilities provide marketers and creators with data for strategic content planning and optimization efforts.
