Google Ads is rolling out new experimentation tools globally for Search campaigns and AI Max, enabling advertisers to more effectively test changes before broad implementation.

The updates aim to provide advertisers with enhanced control over budget, bidding, and targeting modifications, allowing them to measure the impact of campaign adjustments using their own performance data.

A new multi-campaign testing option for Search experiments is scheduled to launch in September, according to Google. This feature will allow advertisers to conduct A/B tests on budget and return on investment (ROI) target changes across multiple campaigns simultaneously.

For AI Max campaigns, new experimentation capabilities will permit advertisers to maintain brand and location controls during tests. This ensures that experiments more closely reflect real-world campaign setups and yield more accurate insights.

Google stated that these enhancements offer greater flexibility for advertisers to evaluate the effectiveness of campaign alterations and automated features.

The Performance Planner within Google Ads has also been updated. Advertisers can now apply suggested bidding or budget changes directly to their campaigns with a single click, streamlining the implementation process.

These developments are part of Google’s ongoing efforts to refine its advertising platform, offering users more effective tools for campaign optimization and performance measurement.
