Accessibility
We design and test rabbitrank.com to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Here is what that covers, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
- Standard
- WCAG 2.2 AA
- WCAG is the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. We check pages with automated WCAG 2.2 AA scans and by using them with a keyboard.
- Text contrast
- 4.5:1 minimum
- All text meets it. On white, body text is 9.0:1 and headings are 18.8:1.
- Keyboard
- Tab · Enter · Esc
- Menus, tabs, toggles, questions and forms all work without a mouse, and you can always see which item has focus.
- Touch targets
- 44px tall
- On phones, menu and footer links and call-to-action buttons are 44px tall or larger.
- Zoom
- 400% · 320px
- Zoom your browser up to 400% and pages reflow to fit a 320px-wide window, with no sideways scrolling.
- Motion
- Follows your device
- Animations switch off when your phone or computer is set to reduce motion.
- Screen readers
- Landmarks · labels
- Pages use landmarks and headings in order, with one H1 each, and every form field has a visible label.
Use your own settings
To zoom, press Ctrl or Cmd and + in your browser: pages reflow up to 400%. On a phone you can also pinch to zoom, which magnifies the page without reflowing it. To stop animations, turn on Reduce motion in your device’s settings. There’s nothing extra to install.
Report a barrier
If something on the site doesn’t work for you, email [email protected] with the page address and what happened. We reply by email within one business day.
Some older blog posts were published before this design. If one gets in your way, tell us and we’ll fix it.
