How it works

A link building process you can check.

You pick the placement type, the grade, the target URL and the anchor. We place the link, confirm it’s live, dofollow and indexed, send the report and monitor it for 12 months.

  • Full refund on anything we can’t place

The process

From sign-up to a monitored link, in 5 steps.

You order in the Rabbit Rank app, and we handle everything after your brief.

Create your account

Sign up in the Rabbit Rank app, where every order starts.

Send your brief

Add your target URLs and anchor text, then pick a placement type and a grade.

We match and place

We find a site that meets your grade, then write the guest post, rework the sentence for an insertion, or negotiate your listicle slot.

Illustration: the link “pricing software” passing 4 of 4 checks (live, dofollow, in-content, indexed) before the placement report is sent.

We verify and report

We check that the link is live, dofollow, in-content and indexed, and only then send your placement report.

We monitor for 12 months

We keep checking the link, and if it drops, we replace it free.

The grades

What the grade numbers mean for you.

Every grade is defined by 3 numbers.

DA (Domain Authority, from Moz) and DR (Domain Rating, from Ahrefs) score the strength of a site’s backlink profile on a 100-point scale. The traffic floor is the minimum traffic the site gets from search each month, a sign that search engines send it real visitors.

Both scores get harder to raise as they climb: moving from 70 to 80 takes far more than moving from 20 to 30. Sites at the top are scarce, and priced to match.

  • Match the grade to the sites already linking to pages that outrank you
  • A higher grade means a stronger, busier site and a higher price per link
  • Grade Three is our most-picked grade
  • Signature Grade covers named national and trade titles
  • Every grade comes as a guest post, link insertion or listicle slot

  • Signature Grade (Flagship): DR 85+, DA 65+, at least 100K+ organic visits a month. Named national and trade titles.
  • Grade One: DR 75–85, DA 50–65, at least 50K+ organic visits a month.
  • Grade Two: DR 65–75, DA 40–50, at least 15K+ organic visits a month.
  • Grade Three (Most picked): DR 55–65, DA 30–40, at least 5K+ organic visits a month.
  • Grade Four: DR 40–55, DA 20–30, at least 1K+ organic visits a month.
  • Grade Five: DR 20–40, DA 10–20, at least 500+ organic visits a month.

Vetting standards

What every placement has to pass.

  • The site sits inside your grade’s DA and DR ranges, or clears your plan’s DA / DR floor
  • The site clears your grade’s monthly organic traffic floor
  • Your link is dofollow, in the body copy, on an indexed page, checked before delivery
  • The link points to your target URL with your anchor text
  • Guest posts: An original 800–1,200 word article by a category-fluent editor, under an author byline on a real, indexed publication
  • Link insertions: An aged page with existing rankings and crawl history, with the sentence rewritten so your link reads naturally
  • Listicle slots: A top-5 position on an existing roundup page, negotiated before you pay

Reporting

After that, we keep watching. If the link drops within 12 months, we replace it free.

  • Live URL, anchor text and target URL for every link
  • Site metrics recorded at publication
  • Link insertions: position and traffic at insertion
  • Listicle slots: 90-day AI citation monitoring across 5 answer engines
  • Managed plans: monthly, weekly or executive reporting with live dashboards, by plan

FAQ

Questions about the process

How long does a placement take?

It depends on the format: 3–7 days for a link insertion, 7–14 days for a guest post and 10–21 days for a listicle slot.

  • Link insertions 3–7 days
  • Guest posts 7–14 days
  • Listicle slots 10–21 days

Can I mix placement types and grades?

Yes. A per-link order is a mix you build: guest posts, link insertions and listicle slots in any quantity, each at the grade you choose.

When do I pay for a listicle slot?

After we’ve negotiated a top-5 position on the page, so you know where you’ll appear before you pay.

What if a link drops or can’t be placed?

If it drops within 12 months, we replace it free. If we can’t place it at all, you get a full refund.

How does this work on a managed plan?

We run these steps for you. After your audit and fixes, we place dofollow, indexed links that meet your plan’s authority floor and report on your plan’s schedule. See managed plans
