Google Business Profiles show empty review dashboards globally

Owners of Google Business Profiles globally reported experiencing empty review dashboards this week, even as their public listings continued to display existing customer reviews.

The issue, which began around July 9, marks the second review-related problem for Google Business Profiles in approximately one week, creating confusion for numerous business owners.

Users began posting complaints in the Google Business Profile Community forum regarding dashboards showing the message, “You have no reviews yet.” This occurred despite public profiles often displaying hundreds of reviews, according to forum participants.

Amy Toman, a volunteer Google Product Expert, highlighted one specific case where a business listing publicly showed 916 reviews, but its reply section within the dashboard stated “no reviews yet.”

This follows a separate issue around July 3, when review counts briefly disappeared from live listings and some profiles were temporarily blocked from receiving new reviews.

Google confirmed the earlier July 3 problem had been resolved, but the company has not yet provided an explanation for the cause of that issue or confirmed a resolution for the current empty dashboard bug.

The current problem appears to be a display error, meaning reviews are still present within Google’s system but are not visible to business owners in their management dashboards. This differs from instances where reviews are removed due to spam detection or policy violations.

Business owners rely on these dashboards to monitor feedback, respond to customer reviews, and manage their online reputation, making the current display bug a significant operational hindrance.

Google has not yet publicly commented on the cause or an estimated timeline for a fix for the ongoing empty dashboard issue.
