GatherUp, an online reputation management platform, will host a global webinar on July 18, 2024, to instruct multi-location brands on how to audit and influence AI-generated descriptions of their businesses for accuracy.
The online event aims to address consumers’ increasing reliance on artificial intelligence tools, such as Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT, for business information, often bypassing official company websites.
AI descriptions of businesses are typically compiled from various online sources, including customer reviews, business listings, and scattered mentions, which can lead to inaccuracies if these inputs are inconsistent or outdated, according to GatherUp.
The webinar will detail methods for conducting an “Emergency Brand Audit” to identify current AI descriptions and the underlying data shaping them.
Attendees will learn practical strategies to correct inconsistencies in their online presence and proactively guide AI responses about their brand, GatherUp reported.
Annie Jackson, director of revenue operations and growth at GatherUp, will lead the session, offering insights into maintaining consistent brand representation across all locations for AI tools.
Jackson will share expertise on ensuring that AI platforms accurately reflect a brand’s identity and offerings for customer perception in the digital age.
