Wix announced Tuesday the global launch of Symphony, an artificial intelligence platform designed to automate workflows and manage operations for small and medium-sized local businesses.
The new platform enables businesses to deploy specialized AI agents capable of handling specific tasks, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and facilitate growth without constant owner intervention.
Symphony is specifically tailored for local enterprises, including consultants, restaurants and retailers, learning about each business to assemble industry-specific teams of AI agents, according to Wix.
The platform features a central AI agent named Maestro, which oversees overall business activities, identifies operational needs and assigns tasks to other specialized agents. These specialized agents then perform their designated functions, integrate with existing business tools and provide updates and analytics.
Wix stated that these agents are designed to flag actions requiring owner approval, ensuring human oversight where necessary. The system also includes a daily “morning meeting” feature, where agents summarize their completed work, identify potential issues and highlight new opportunities based on business activity and market trends.
Ronny Elkayam, chief operating officer at Wix, said the company intends for Symphony to become the primary AI agent orchestrator for small and medium-sized businesses. He added that the platform provides a virtual team to help these businesses scale their operations effectively.
The introduction of Symphony marks Wix’s expansion into more sophisticated AI-driven solutions for its user base, building on its existing content management system capabilities.
