Cloudflare on Wednesday launched isitagentready.com, a public scanner designed to assess websites’ preparedness for interaction with emerging artificial intelligence agents.

The new Agent Readiness Score aims to provide website owners with a quantifiable metric for AI agent compatibility, moving beyond subjective evaluations to a standardized assessment across several key categories.

The scanner evaluates websites against 16 specific criteria grouped into five main categories, including Discoverability, Content, Bot Access Control, API, Auth, MCP & Skill Discovery, and Performance, according to a company statement.

Cloudflare said the initiative seeks to ensure websites are optimized for the next generation of AI-driven internet interactions, which could significantly impact how information is accessed and processed by AI systems.

The public scanner is accessible directly via isitagentready.com. Additionally, the assessment capabilities are integrated into Cloudflare Radar and available through the Cloudflare URL Scanner API.

For direct agent interaction, a stateless Machine-Readable Content Policy (MCP) server is also provided at /.well-known/mcp.json, allowing AI agents to call the readiness assessment directly.

During its Agents Week, Cloudflare also introduced several other tools and services aimed at enhancing AI agent infrastructure. These include Agent Memory, designed to help agents retain information across interactions, and Shared Dictionaries.

Other new features include Redirects for AI Training, which helps guide AI models to optimal training data, and Unweight, a compression technology for large language models (LLMs).

Cloudflare also rolled out Flagship, a tool specifically for managing AI-generated code, and Project Think, an Agents Software Development Kit (SDK) to assist developers in building AI agents.

The company stated that these new offerings collectively aim to build a more accessible ecosystem for AI agents, benefiting both website operators and AI developers.

The Agent Readiness Score is expected to become a critical tool for companies like OpenAI and GoDaddy as they work with AI-powered internet services.
