CallRail, a lead attribution and marketing analytics platform, introduced an integration for ChatGPT ads Tuesday, allowing small and medium-sized businesses and marketing agencies to measure artificial intelligence advertising performance.
This new offering positions CallRail as the first provider focused on SMBs and agencies to offer attribution for ChatGPT advertising, enabling marketers to track ad effectiveness alongside traditional and digital channels such as Google, Meta and Microsoft within a unified platform.
The integration provides key capabilities, including the ability to measure the return on investment of ChatGPT advertisements and to optimize campaign performance by transmitting conversion data directly to OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT.
Marketers can also compare the performance of ChatGPT ads against other marketing channels, according to CallRail.
Emily Popson, vice president of product at CallRail, said the company aims to level the playing field for SMBs and agencies by providing them with attribution tools for emerging AI advertising channels.
Popson added that this capability helps these businesses compete effectively with larger enterprises that often have access to more sophisticated measurement solutions.
The integration is available to eligible CallRail customers at no additional cost and can be activated quickly through a self-serve setup process.
This development expands upon CallRail’s existing measurement capabilities, which already support AI-powered organic search experiences provided by platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
The company said in a statement that the new integration underscores its commitment to providing comprehensive analytics for the digital marketing industry.
