Google integrated its Gemini 3.7 Flash model into AI Mode within Google Search, providing subscribers with enhanced instruction following and improved intent understanding capabilities globally.
The addition, announced one day after Gemini 3.7 Flash’s initial release for coding and agent tasks, expands the artificial intelligence features available to paying users of Google’s search product.
Robby Stein, Google Search‘s vice president of Product, confirmed the global rollout on X, highlighting the model’s improved ability to process user instructions and interpret underlying intent.
Subscribers to Google AI Pro and Ultra tiers can access Gemini 3.7 Flash in English by selecting it from the model menu under ‘Gemini 3 models’, according to Google.
Google initially unveiled Gemini 3.7 Flash on Aug. 13, describing it as its “most intelligent workhorse model yet for coding and agents.”
The company stated the new model was designed to handle complex tasks with greater efficiency and accuracy, particularly in developer-centric applications.
Jeff Dean, Google’s chief scientist for AI, previously emphasized the importance of developing specialized AI models for different computational needs.
Access to Gemini 3.7 Flash in AI Mode currently requires a subscription and is not available within the free tier of Google’s AI Search features.
This integration marks a continued effort by Google to enhance its AI-powered search experience for premium users, building on its existing Gemini offerings.
The move also underscores the rapid deployment strategy for new AI models, making them available across Google’s product ecosystem shortly after their initial introduction.
